Do you know which vendors have a signed BAA?
Most practices can't answer that question. Covered gives you a single dashboard showing every vendor, whether their BAA is on file, and what's missing. No spreadsheet. No filing cabinet. No scramble.
14 days, no credit card required
You have more vendors than you think.
And gaps you don't know about.
Your practice probably works with 15–25 vendors that touch patient data. Your EHR, your billing service, your telehealth platform. But also your cloud storage, your IT support company, your answering service, your shredding company. Every one of them is supposed to have a signed BAA.
Right now, could you list every vendor that handles your patient data? Could you confirm which ones have a BAA on file? Could you find the signed copy if someone asked for it today?
The most common problem isn't an expired agreement. It's not knowing what you have and what's missing. The BAA gets signed during onboarding and disappears into someone's email. A new tool gets added and nobody remembers to ask for a BAA. The vendor gets acquired and the old agreement doesn't transfer.
These gaps don't cause problems until someone asks. And when they ask, it's an audit.
One dashboard. Every vendor. No scramble.
Covered gives you a single screen showing every vendor your practice works with and whether their BAA is accounted for. You don't need to click into anything to see where you stand.
Add a vendor in 30 seconds. Attach the signed BAA so it's findable. If a BAA has a term, Covered reminds you before it lapses. When an audit happens, pull a report in one click.
That's it. No compliance suite. No policy generator. No training modules. Just BAA tracking done right.
How it works
Step 1: Add your vendors
Name, category, whether you have a BAA on file. Takes about 15 minutes to enter your full vendor list. Most people discover gaps during this step.
Step 2: Upload signed BAAs
Attach the PDF to each vendor record so you never have to dig through email or shared drives again.
Step 3: Fill the gaps and forget about it
For BAAs with expiration dates, Covered reminds you before they lapse. When an audit happens, export a complete report in one click.

Frequently asked questions
Is Covered a HIPAA compliance platform?
No. Covered tracks one thing: Business Associate Agreements. If you need risk assessments, policy management, or employee training, use a full compliance platform. Covered sits next to those tools, not instead of them.
Is Covered itself HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Covered does not store PHI. It stores vendor names, contact information, and BAA documents (which are contracts, not patient data). All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
How long does setup take?
About 15 minutes to add your full vendor list. There’s no onboarding call, no implementation period. Sign up, start adding vendors.
Can I import from a spreadsheet?
Not yet. CSV import is coming. For now, adding vendors takes about 30 seconds each.
What happens when my trial ends?
You’ll be prompted to enter a credit card. If you don’t, your account becomes read-only. You can still see your dashboard but can’t add vendors or generate reports. Your data is never deleted.
Who is this for?
Small-to-mid healthcare practices (1–50 providers). Dental offices, behavioral health clinics, group practices, specialty clinics. Any covered entity that needs to track vendor BAAs.
